Subject: Prayers needed

 At 10 am this morning I received a prayer request from Church. Cathy  Mitchell, who attends Spring Hills, called in to our secretary. Her  husband, Tony, is an Air Force commander in Afghanistan. She received an urgent email from him this morning. It said, "We need Christians to pray, pray, pray.
We're in a Blood Bath here!" Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders. Pass this on to as many as you think will respond. Prayer Wheel
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

 When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our ground troops in Afghanistan. There is nothing attached, This can be very powerful.... Just send this to all the people in your address book. Do not stop the wheel, please. Of all the gifts you could give a US Soldier,Prayer is the best!! God Bless You!

By Bishop T.D. Jakes Prayer

"When you are DOWN to nothing ... God is UP to something" Father, in the Name of Jesus, bless the one reading this in a special way. Open supernatural doors in their life today. Save and set free! Give them a double portion of your Spirit as we take back everything that the devil has stolen: Emotional Health, Physical Health, Finances, Relationships, Children, Jobs, Homes, Marriages. cancel every plot, plan and scheme the enemy has devised against them, in the MATCHLESS NAME OF JESUS. And I declare: NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST THEM WILL PROSPER. I speak LIFE into every dead situation. And, I thank you that nothing is over until YOU say it's over! I speak prophetically into their lives and to their situations: Their household is blessed; Their health is blessed; Their marriage is blessed; Their finances are blessed; Their jobs are blessed; Their children are blessed; Their grandchildren are blessed; Their parents are blessed; Their siblings are blessed; Their ministries are blessed; and, Their decisions are blessed. Husbands are on the way; Wives are on the way; Mortgages are paid and cancelled; Their hearts' desires are on the way; according to YOUR perfect will and plan for their lives. IN JESUS' NAME! AMEN! Pray this prayer back to the one who prayed it for you, then send to EVERYBODY YOU KNOW. Within hours countless people will have prayed for you, and you will have caused a multitude of people to pray to God for other people. In our daily lives, we must see that it is not happiness that makes us grateful, but the gratefulness that makes us happy."

PICK YOUR CROSS

A young man was at the end of his rope,
seeing no way out, dropped to His knees in
prayer. "Lord, I can't go on," he said.
"I have too heavy of a cross to bear."
The Lord replied, "My son, if you can't
bear its weight, just place your
cross inside this room. Then, open
that other door and pick out any cross
you wish."

The man was filled with relief said,
"Thank you, Lord," and he did as he
was told. Upon entering the other door,
he saw many crosses, some so large the
tops were not visible. Then, he spotted
a tiny cross leaning against a far wall.
"I'd like that one, Lord," he whispered.
And the Lord replied, " My son, that is
the cross you just brought in."

When life's problems seem overwhelming,
it helps to look around and see what other
people are coping with. You may consider
yourself far more fortunate than you imagined.

YOUR CROSS
Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
There will always be
sunshine after the rain.
Perhaps you may stumble,
perhaps even fall,
But God's always there
to help you through it all.

No firefighter website could be without this special prayer

Fireman's Prayer

When I am called to duty, God
Where ever flames may rage
Give me the strength to save some life
Whatever be its age
Help me embrace a little child
Before it is to late
Or save an older person from
The horror of that fate
Enable me to be alert
And hear the weakest shout
And quickly and efficiently to put the fire out
I want to fill my calling and
To give the best in me
To guard my every neighbor and protect his property
And if according to your will
I have to give my life
Please bless with your protecting hand
My children and my wife

FIREMANS WIFES PRAYER

The table's set, the meal's prepared,
our guests will soon arrive. My husband
once more disappears with a hope of keeping
a child alive. While waiting at home alone,
our plans having gone awry, My first impulse
is merely to sit right down and cry.

But soon again I realize the importance of
my life When I agreed to take on the duties
of being a Fireman's wife. While there are
many drawbacks, I'll take them in my stride,
Knowing "My Daddy saved a life" our children
can say with pride.

The gusting winds and raging flames may be his
final fate. But with God's help I can remain my
Fireman's faithful mate.

My Daddy's a Fireman

We're seldom named in poems, though we do
have charm and poise, Firemen never seem
to have girls it's always boys, boys, boys!
Well, my Daddy's a fireman, and I'm proud
as I can be, While my name isn't Tommy or
Billy, he loves me 'cause I'm me. He needs
both me and Mommy to remind him of things
to do, Like going to Church on Sunday and
emptying the garbage, too. One day he took
me with him to his firehouse downtown, I
sat in the big red engine and pushed the
siren down. At times, I like to fool him;
make believe I'm asleep at night, He'd whisper;
"Nite-nite, little darlin', don't let the bed
bugs bite!"
Please don't tell anybody, I once saw
my Daddy cry, He fought a real bad fire and
told Mommy he saw someone die. When he fights
these fires, I guess I'm to young to know,
He's always helping people ~ and, that's why
I love him so. The reason I wrote this poem
is to explain the best I can, Girls, just
like boys, can say with pride
~ MY DADDY'S A FIREMAN.

The 23 Psalm

The Lord is my Shepherd;
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down
In green pastures;
He leadeth me
Beside the still waters;
He restoreth my soul;
He leadeth me in the paths
Of righteousness for His Name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley
Of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff
They comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me
In the presence of mine enemies;
Thou anointest my head with oil;
My cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall
Follow me all the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house
Of the Lord for ever.
